Good News Plumbing & Drain Inc. wants every visitor — regardless of ability or technology — to be able to read this site, learn about our services, and schedule plumbing help. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we do

• Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
• Keyboard-operable navigation, including the dropdown menus and the cookie notice (with focus trapping and Escape to close).
• Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios for text and interactive elements.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and aria labeling for icons and controls.
• Support for prefers-reduced-motion — animations and scroll effects are disabled for users who request less motion.
• Responsive layouts that work with zoom up to 200% and on screens of all sizes.

Known limitations

Some older blog images and embedded third-party content (maps, review widgets, financing applications) may not fully meet AA. We review these surfaces as we update the site and hold third-party vendors to improving theirs.

AI & machine access

Accessibility includes machines reading on people's behalf. We publish structured, AI-readable surfaces — llms.txt, llms-full.txt, and an XML sitemap — so assistants and search engines can cite our content accurately.
